Broken China Pendant Alabama State Commemorative Plate And Chain Handmade I Made this pendant from a commemorative Alabama State plate. I cut out different scenes, polished, and framed with decorative lead-free solder. The different scenes include Noccalula Falls, Mardi gras in Mobile, The State Capitol in Montgomery, The Vulcan, and the University of Alabama The pendant is 4.25 inches tall by 2 inches wide. The chain is 8.5 inches long, but you can use any length chain.
I use a Boho-Style Metalwork soldering technique to secure and encase my pieces. The material is made to stay forever shiny but can lose some of its sheen. It may be gently polished with a steel wool to replenish the sheen.
