Deconstructed Rosary & Mixed Media Pendant w Jasper & French Art Deco Fragments
Deconstructed Rosary & Mixed Media Pendant w Jasper & French Art Deco Fragments
Today I offer to you this deconstructed Rosary with a mixed media pendant.
This Mixed Media Tiny Art Glass Pendant depicts the ‘Madonna With The Long Neck’ Painting by Girolamo Francesco Maria Mazzola, Parmigianino, 1503-1540.
The pendant is encased in glass with a boho-style, Silver blend intricate metalwork.
A chain is made of vintage French Art Deco fragments, sterling wire-wrapped Black Multifaceted Crystal Beads and a silver toned Cross.
The other side completes this necklace, also using sterling, wire-wrapped, Poppy Jasper beads.
The length of the necklace is 29” long.
The pendant is 3” H X 1” W with a total 18” Drop.
I use a Boho-Style Metalwork soldering technique to secure and encase my pieces. The material is made to stay forever shiny but can lose some of its sheen. It may be gently polished with a steel wool to replenish the sheen.
*The material is an Alloy: 96% Tin / 4% Silver.
I design all my pieces by using mixed media art and incorporating mainly vintage and antique pieces to create something new from something old, hence, Disegno Antiguo Nuevo.
Thank you so much for supporting my small business!
