Tiny Glass Canvas Pendant of Suffering Christ & Vintage Religious 4 Silver Charm
Tiny Glass Canvas Pendant of Suffering Christ & Vintage Religious 4 Silver Charm
This tiny canvas is a cutout of an art book, it is decoupaged, then encased in glass and framed with soft soldering. The painting is Ecce Homo, also known as Suffering Christ, painted by Bartolomé Esteban Murillo, 1645-46 in his native Seville. I added a vintage Sterling Silver 925, 4 Way Medal Pendant Charm Necklace Religious Four.
The picture of the charm is to depict the value of the vintage charm I used.
I use a boho-style metalwork soldering technique. This material for is made to stay forever shiny but can lose some of its sheen. It may be gently polished with a steel wool to replenish the sheen. It is an Alloy: 96% Tin / 4% Silver, it’s safe and lead free!
I design all my pieces by using mixed media art and incorporating mainly vintage and antique pieces to create something new from something old, hence, Disegno Antiguo Nuevo.
Thank you so much for supporting my small business!
