Upcycled Mid-Century Glass and Brass, Made in India Candle Holders, Hand Painted & Decoupaged. These little lamps just felt lack-luster and needed a new, bright look. Inspired by an old nautical book and some vintage paper, I just went with the theme! Hope you like these as much as I liked to up-cycle them!
MCM Vintage Iron Candle Holders 1 Pair Made In India Brass Base With Hand Cut Glass Bottle Dome. Measurements are, 9.5" x 4.5". These are from the 1950s and are heavy iron, about 2 lbs each!
They each have springs on the inside to hold the glass in place. They are fire-safe, but I recommend using the faux candles instead!
I design all my pieces by using mixed media art and incorporating mainly vintage and antique pieces to create something new from something old, hence, Disegno Antiguo Nuevo.

HOW DO I CLEAN MY LAMPS? Please do Inot submerge vase in water/not dishwasher safe. Gently wipe with a damp cloth for cleaning.
WHAT IS DECOUPAGE? Decoupage is the art of decorating an object by applying paper cutouts onto it in combination, than adding a clear coat of varnish to seal the paper. Please Note: Due to the nature of each vase being handmade and decorated, absolutely no 2 pieces are ever identical and might have minor imperfections. NOTE** The surface will not be completely smooth and may have creases. This is not a defect, but due to the decoupage process it adds a rustic look and feel to each vase. You will have a one of a kind, beautiful, perfectly imperfect, and unique vase.
